Submitting Offline Job Applications

On the other hand, submitting offline entails that you either snail mail your resume to the company you want to work for, personally give your resume to the company, or apply to the company during a job fair. The third process is the easiest since you are sure that a company is looking for employees when it joins a job fair.

If you’re mailing a resume or sending it in-person, you should check to make sure that the company or the store of the company you want to work for is looking for employees for the job you are applying for, or else they may just discard your resume. The advantage of sending your job application online is that they will keep it in their company database, in case a position suddenly becomes available.

Remember that some companies may accept one form of job application submission, but not another. You should make an effort to find out the best way you can get your job applications to the company you want to apply for.
