•    If he asks you if you can start working immediately and you are still undecided on whether or not to take the job, do not panic. Explain that you are very interested in taking the job, but that you need at least a day to think it through as getting a job is a big life-changing decision.

This will show him that you are a rational person who does not make mind important decisions haphazardly.
